The Exped Flex Mat Plus boasts 3.8cm of closed cell comfort and insulation. That's the most of any lightweight closed cell camp mat out there. It is tough, durable, warm and ready to reply at a moments notice when you need a seat or mattress in the back country.

Coming in two lengths, it can be used on its own on ultra lightweight or alpine adventures, or it can be coupled with an inflatable mat to increase puncture protection and insulation. This style of camp mat has been a favourite of alpinists for decades because it is dependable and you simply can't kill it. Also if you're stopping for a quick cup of tea on the trail or for an alpine belay stance, you can quickly just put it out for comfort and insulation.
